Why?
Because I think it’s fucking bullshit what’s going on right now!I crossplayed Yusuf Tazim da Istanbul!
He’s a turkish male, in his 40-50ish with an impressive beard.
I liked his character SO SO SO much, that I felt like crossplaying him. Problem? I’m a girl, I’m 25 (24 at the time) and I will admit I don’t have a beard… and I’m as Dutch as they get (pale, round face, you get the drill)
So I used make-up, a beard, a chest binder, ANYTHING to look more like Yusuf. I do this because I respect the character. Never, EVER, did it dawn on me that I could possibly disrespect anyone, let alone a whole country. I wouldn’t get it now either. I don’t mean disrespect. I merely want to portray a fictional character and do my best as that. At the end of the day, when I slowly peel the beard off (OUCH) and wash the make-up of my face, I’m me again.
If people can’t appreciate me doing this, then I’m sorry you feel like this, but I won’t delete my photos, I won’t apologize for it either, you take offense where there’s none meant. I just sincerely hope you’ll see I and anyone using a tanpowder, or facepaint, mean no harm.

I spotted an Assassin walking around on Saturday and snapped a few pics, they vanished into the mass crowd the second I looked away.

He was cosplaying as Hawkeye and we found the Avengers!
They loved him because no one was dressed as Hawkeye, but we kept missing Thor or Tony when we ran into them, I guess they had conflicting schedules.
Thor and Loki, two girls, both shorter then me and I still loved them for dressing as the brothers!
Arizona doesn’t have enough cosplayers.
You bet your ass I found the only TWO cosplayers there in Assassin’s Creed grab and made them pose with my little Brozio.
